Prayer for the sick

Every Friday we offer the Rosary and the Holy Mass for all sick brothers and sisters who recommend themselves or are recommended by somebody else in the prayers, so the Lord could give them strength to carry the cross of their sickness together with Him.

On every first Friday we pray for present sick people.
L i t u r g y

HOLY MASS in our church of the Holy Cross:
- Sundays at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Workdays at 6 p.m., and Tuesdays also at 8 a.m.

THE ROSARY is prayed daily before the evening Mass as preparation for the Mass.

THE WAY OF THE CROSS is celebrated during Lent on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays instead of the Rosary.

DEVOTION TO ST. ANTHONY is performed every Tuesday during the evening Mass.

 - three-day devotion before the feast of the Annunciation
- Devotion of 13 Tuesdays as further preparation for the
feast of St. Anthony on 13 June
10 - 12 June
 - three-day devotion as closer preparation for the feast of St. Anthony
1 - 3 Oct.
 - three-day devotion before the feast of St. Francis
14 - 16 Nov.
 - three-day devotion before the feast of St. Elisabeth, patron saint of SFO
1 - 7 Dec.
 - great novena to Our Lady of Osijek with participation from other Osijek parishes
and parish priests as preparation for the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament

On Saturdays after Mass we have the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. At that time we recommend ourselves and our needs to intercession of Our Lady of Osijek through an occasional hymn.
